I was there first and did not come with unrealistic needs, a very basic transaction. This was one of the most bizarre ordeals I've experienced at any place of business! Take care of your paying customers and use common sense. WOW.
My customer service experience was hit and miss. I interacted with 7 employees. 2 interactions were fantastic, 3 interactions were neutral, and 2 interactions were poor from a customer service standpoint.
Coming back to update my review. I had given five stars, but the next visit was just bad. I had to return some mortar and pick up a different kind. Once I got my supplies I went to the checkout in the lumber department.
You would have thought I was trying to return 30+ items. The woman at the register immediately became flustered as she decided what to do. She said we should do the purchase first and then the return (one bag of mortar mix). While she panicked (idk why) for a way to do this, another customer had joined the line with a few items to purchase. She asked if we could take care of him first. Ok, whatever... So that happens and back to my purchase. We do the purchase and then an older man is in line with some supplies. She starts to panic again and then asks if he is in a hurry. He says, yes and I say, "well aren't we all?" and she then proceeds to check him out BEFORE doing my return! His purchase took longer than my return. He was also terrible and I hope his project failed miserably.
It's out of my way to go to this Lowe's continually, but Jayson was great to work with, and I hope he stays for a while, as he definitely understands good customer service.
This store is very disorganized and messy. Good luck trying to find a speicality bolt in their screw/bolt/nut drawers in hardware, which are more of random throw all than organized. The Lowe's app in store item locatior is outdated and more of waste of time than helpful.
It wasn't the end of the world, but wow. Then we did my return once the coast was clear of any other customers looking like they may want to make a purchase in the next five minutes and the return took 30 seconds!!!!!!
The store itself was exactly what you'd expect. It took us a long time to find everything. Lowe's should install kiosks that interface with their inventory system to help people find what they need. The employees mostly seem too busy to help much.
This is my mall, employees are always nice and very helpful. Today I came in unsure if plumber's tape would suffice or I needed to replace a connect hose for my washing machine. I asked where they were located. Not only did he direct me to the correct aisle he came back to see check if I needed any help and after explaining my issue let me know i needed a new hose.
Can't speak for everyone else, but my experience was great. Came in to get some tile for my bearded dragon enclosure. Jayson was very helpful and patient with me as we came up with the correct measurements. By the time I got home and placed them in there, they fit perfectly! (See picture)
