Needless to say I will never ever return to this store. Some personal advice? Stop being a douche bag.
Their party supply shop had jello shot cups w/lids!
Me and my husband went in to buy beer and a cigar and was treated with very poor customer service. The guy didn't know even have any knowledge about the products. The cashier actually told us he didn't want to service us and threw the money on the floor.
I went in here today while on the phone. I wasn't talking, just had it to my ear. I walked in and spoke to the large bearded guy behind the counter, "hey how's it going?" I didn't wait for a reply and walked straight to the beer case. I grabbed my 12 pack of Coors Light and went to the front to check out - mind you, still holding the phone to my ear. The guy rang me up, I handed him my card, and he asked if I wanted a receipt. My reply, "nope." At this point, all is good. Then he looks at me and says loudly, "SORRY TO INTERRUPT YOUR CALL." As if he was saying it loud enough for the other person to hear. I turned around and looked at him perplexed. I said, "You didn't, have a nice day." He gives me this look as to say, "really?" and goes "Pssshhhhh."
I've been going here for years, it's like visiting old friends who happen to sell beer every time. Decent prices, cigars and a cool little side shop with local BBQ sauce and chasers make this place great.
Please, large bearded man take this as an apology. I'm sorry that it bothered you so much that I was on the phone. I'm sorry I didn't immediately recognize your neediness and drive to have an emotional connection to me during the 2 minutes I was in your store. I'm sorry that you felt you had to be a complete ass to me after spending money in your store. If I ever return (which is going to be a pretty cold day in Hell) I will make sure to ask you a thousand questions and engage you in such a deep personal way that you are going to fall in love in with me.
